It also brings together the research communities in computer science, artificial intelligence, and engineering. This workshop on Agent Technologies for Pervasive Communities aims to gather input and feedback concerning the above challenges, through the collection of the high-quality contributions that reflect and advance the state-of-the-art in agent-based ubiquitous and pervasive application systems. We invite submissions that address theoretical, technical, and practical issues of agent-based ubiquitous and pervasive computing. Topics of interest include, but not limited to the following: ·         context aware agents for pervasive applications ·         agent based modelling and simulation of pervasive environment ·         agent-oriented sensor networks and sensor fusion ·         self-organization of multi-agent systems for pervasive applications ·         pervasive, service-oriented multi-agent architectures ·         methodologies for agent-based pervasive computing ·        evaluation techniques and metrics for agent-based pervasive computing ·         security issues for agent-based pervasive computing ·         multi-agent collaboration for distributed problem solving ·         agent-oriented software engineering for pervasive computing ·         agent-based peer-to-peer services and information distribution for pervasive computing ·         agent-based middleware design specification, validation, and verification of agent-based systems for pervasive computing   Paper Submission Guidelines: --------------------------------------- Submitted papers must be unpublished and not considered elsewhere for publication. Papers must show a significant relevance to pervasive computing and networking. Only electronic submissions (PS or PDF) will be considered. The page limit is 6 IEEE conference proceedings format 2-column pages (including references, figures and tables) with at least 11pt fonts.
